The Team
Tim Bertram
A passion for transport and logistics was practically placed in Tim Bertram’s cradle. His father founded the forwarding company BTS in the early 1980s, initially specialising in courier and express transports up to 3.5 tonnes. The company soon grew and expanded into new areas – always with a strong focus on reliability and customer proximity.
Tim Bertram joined the family business in 2007. At first, he focused on customer support and the coordination of the company’s own fleet. Over time, he took on increasing responsibility and eventually led the entire company.
After more than 15 successful years in the family business, it was dissolved in 2022 – a step that also opened the door to something new.
With the founding of Frachtgut BZ GmbH in 2023, Tim Bertram continues this tradition – with fresh drive, modern structures and the same core values as before: reliable transport solutions, short decision paths and trust-based partnership.
René Zielke
René Zielke brings many years of experience in the transport and logistics industry. His career began in dispatching, where he spent many years developing in-depth expertise and a strong understanding of the processes and requirements of modern logistics operations.
Before founding Frachtgut BZ, René Zielke worked as Head of Dispatching for a major textile company in North Rhine-Westphalia. In this role, he was responsible for the entire transport coordination and worked closely with numerous forwarding companies and logistics service providers. This experience continues to shape his practical leadership style and his instinct for efficient, solution-oriented workflows.
With the founding of Frachtgut BZ GmbH, René Zielke places great value on personal support, short decision paths and partnership-based cooperation – values that make the difference in an industry where reliability and trust matter.
